recently at work, a friend discussed an interesting idea.
“yeah, ” he said. “when i want something at work, i just ask for it. and i have a good reason. i always get it.”
“really? what’s an example?”
“he said one time he wanted two monitors. so he started telling people at work how it sucks how he only has one monitor at work and what not.
his line was “i got two monitors at home. i come to work, its like seeing with one eye.”
and i’ll tell you what… he got his monitors…he earned those monitors….
I take offense to this post. I think you know why.
